Newgrounds.com — Everything, By Everyone.

New Newgrounds is definitely... different! Not sure if I like it yet.. I'm sure I'll get used to it though. It seems like a souped up version of the awesome 2005 layout with a social media feel to it.

Not that anyone will probably bother with reading this, but my name is Nick. I remember when they did the big redesign in 2007, I was one of those extra eager kids waiting in anticipation, I even got one of the first blog post IDs :). Lately, with the sad fact of growing up, I've managed to put NG aside for a while. I think it was good for me, I've matured a bit since then. Very recently I've been posting a bit, hopefully adding a much needed boost of intelligence mainly to my own posts, and to the NG BBS in general. I see all the '07 and up users that used to be noobs are now really smart kids. It's pretty cool being there, noticing their usernames from back in the day, and seeing some of them now; in a way I've passively watched them grow up. Newgrounds sure has changd, but hopefully the social aspect of the site will be for the best. I've toyed with the idea of trying to get back into animation (I tried back in the day but gave up, as I did with a lot of things). I doodle in my spare time and I should definitely upload some of my art on here and see if anyone likes it.
