LIVE! at the House of Blues. June 4th!

They were pretty much AMAZING. Me and my girlfriend were right in front of Geologist. We did finally get to the very front. Although we weren't in the middle and Geologist's magic rainbow table blocked Avey a good portion of the time, but that is okay. I wish we could've gotten to meet them, maybe some other time! I didn't really pay attention to the ball with the moving pictures on it, but it was really cool when they brought it out and lifted it up, even though I thought they were going to throw it in the crowd. They had a huge Merriweather Post Pavilion album cover sheet in the back and they changed the lighting from red to blue to make it look like it was moving. Fucking trippy.

The opening band was Black Dice, and I think a lot of people hated them haha. They were even louder than Animal Collective and it was all noise noise noise. Some of it dragged on (they played for a whole hour) but I really enjoyed some of it. The video on the projected screen behind theme was super trippy and was pretty much a longer, more random version of this. This song was like, one of the only times with a steady beat.
La Cucachara
The only time I could understand what he was singing (we are watching you). It had a crazy effect added the microphone so it just added to the epic noise.

When Avey Tare, Panda Bear, and Geologist came out every started screaming. It was wonderful. This whole song was pretty much just a setup for Summertime Clothes. It went on for awhile. TRAFFIC SIGNALS!

The volume went way up and the concert started on this song.This is still my favorite song off of Meriweather Post Pavillion.
3. Who Could Win A Rabbit / Leaf House
Rabbit or Habit! Habit or Real! They kind of mix these two songs together into one new electronic song. I miss the old acoustic version but these are still very cool and fun to dance to.
4. Slippi
On this song Avey Tare picks up the guitar for the first time of the show (there are a few other songs with guitar), and it was just a great song. I never really listened to Slippi before that night.

MY GOD FIREWORKS WAS THE BEST THAT NIGHT! Panda Bear was fully on the drums for it and when it started I just had to jump up and down the beat was wonderful. (just a short clip)

Yeah. Everyone went super crazy. At the end they left and everyone started screaming. About five minutes later they come back and ooooooooohmigod :). Check the video down below!

In the end, Animal Collective's whole show lasted about two hours. I'm sooooo glad, it could have been a lame short show.

And this year has gone by pretty fast! I remember last year I was pretty excited about the redesign and it's new features but... NG Chat and User Page Layout have yet to be finished. I don't blame them obviously they've had a lot of work to do between Castle Crashers, MGS colab and running Newgrounds.

There has been nothing really new going on with me, which explains the four months without a blog post. Hate to talk about my personal life on Newgrounds but my mom has been bitchy with me for that whole period of time. Over summer she's been taking the monitor to the computer to her room and I have to wait until she gets up to beg for it. It's really mean, I really haven't done anything bad all summer, I just want to lurk all day. Oh well =/

I've been watching E3 and a lot of games look like lotsa fun. Xbox Live looks to be interesting with Avatars (Miis) and watching Netflix movies with your friends. Pointless updates to be honest, why do we need these stupid avatars? I suppose it's just for game developers not having to make a real character for games. Also, anyone notice all of Xbox's lineup are all 3rd person games which is interesting when Xbox used to be all about FPS? Wacky.

Games I'm looking forward to are Castle Crashers (of course), Fable 2, Mega Man 9, Gears of War 2, Sonic Unleashed (let's hope Sega doesn't fuck it up) and plenty others. Resident Evil 5, Killzone 2, Dead Space and Red Faction look to be interesting. Gametrailers.com has lots of really nice HD videos for games, and I have a conveniently plugged profile there.

Another little tidbit of info for you guys that are still reading: I was banned from deviantART. That's crazy. I was in a mood where I really didn't care so I gave TSStudios' (yes, the faggot who is still talking about he met "THE Tom Fulp") dA profile a comment with "n****rs" over 9000 times. He deleted the comment and asked me why and I told him because I felt like it. I thought it was cool but that fat arse felt the need to report me. The situation was over and I thought any self-respecting Newgrounder can handle that. What's the point in calling it DEVIANT when every single user there has the emotional stability of a 3 yearold!? Apparently users can't block other users for themselves and the admins have to step in. I don't see a date where I'm unbanned so I guess you get permabanned on your first offense. Harsh. Disappointing, but I really don't care about that site anyway. (my account)

Playing the Super Nintendo a lot lately. Actually I've been getting back into video games lately.

Secret of Mana is a fun game. I feel stupid for never looking up it's sequels. I found out that Children of Mana for the DS is at my local GameStop.

Hahaha, I have no 3D DS games yet. Anyone know any good sidescrollers? I'm open to DS or GBA.

Oh! Achievements! Yes, the first is what the point of this whole blog post is about; second berfdai on Newgrounds. The second happens to be just a day after, and is level 21. Not the best, but atleast I have 22, 23, 24 and 25 to look forward too.
